Natural shampoos may require an adjustment period, as your scalp needs time to adjust to the lack of chemicals. Don't give up after a week! Wet your hair in the shower, rub the bar over your hair and lather with your fingertips. Rinse well with lukewarm water. To finish, some people will use a simple acidic rinse to restore the pH of their hair afterwards. This is really easy – simply add 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar to a 1litre jug of water and pour over your head.
